On this sidecar tour of the Loire Valley, we'll depart from Chinon to discover its heritage and that of nearby villages such as Candes-Saint-Martin and Chouzé-sur-Loire. Buckle up!

Chinon Private Sidecar Tour

The tour begins at the Chinon Tourist Office. Participants will board a motorbike with a sidecar, offering a unique travel experience in this region of France. The tour includes a visit to Chinon, where we will view the Royal Fortress and notable sites like the collegiate church of Saint Mexme and the chapel of Sainte-Radegonde.

Next, we will travel to Candes-Saint-Martin to explore the history of Saint Martin of Tours and witness the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers. After this, we will cross the Montsoreau Bridge to visit Chouzé-sur-Loire.

Participants will walk through the old town of Chouzé before returning to Chinon. The tour duration is approximately two hours, with arrival back at the meeting point scheduled for two hours after departure.

What are the motorbikes like?

The vehicles will be operated by the guide. Each motorbike accommodates a maximum of 2 passengers: one on the motorbike behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
