On this sidecar tour of the Loire Valley, we'll depart from Chinon to explore its heritage and nearby villages such as Candes-Saint-Martin and Chouzé-sur-Loire.

Chinon Private Sidecar Tour

The tour starts at the Chinon Tourist Office. Participants will board a motorbike with a sidecar, an engaging way to travel through this region of France. Initially, a sidecar tour of Chinon will showcase the main monuments along the banks of the Vienne River, including the exterior of the Royal Fortress, the collegiate church of Saint Mexme , and the chapel of Sainte-Radegonde.

Next, the route proceeds towards Candes-Saint-Martin, where historical insights about Saint Martin of Tours will be shared, along with views of the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers. After this, we cross the Montsoreau Bridge heading to Chouzé-sur-Loire.

A walk through the old town of Chouzé will follow, before returning to Chinon. The return to the meeting point is scheduled for two hours after departure.

What are the motorbikes like?

The guide will always drive the motorbikes. Each motorbike can accommodate 2 passengers: one behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
