On this sidecar tour of the Loire Valley, we'll depart from Chinon to discover its heritage and nearby villages such as Candes-Saint-Martin and Chouzé-sur-Loire.

Chinon Private Sidecar Tour

We'll begin the tour by meeting in front of the Chinon Tourist Office at the indicated time. Participants will board a motorbike with a sidecar for travel through this region of France.

The tour will start with a sidecar ride around Chinon to view the main monuments in this picturesque town on the banks of the Vienne River. We'll see the exterior of the impressive Royal Fortress, the collegiate church of Saint Mexme, and the chapel of Sainte-Radegonde.

After Chinon, we will head to Candes-Saint-Martin, where insights into the history of Saint Martin of Tours and the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers will be provided.

Following this, we'll cross the Montsoreau Bridge to visit the village of Chouzé-sur-Loire. A walk through the small old town of Chouzé will conclude our exploration before returning to Chinon, with arrival at the meeting point scheduled for two hours after departure.

What are the motorbikes like?

The vehicles will be driven at all times by the guide. Each motorbike accommodates a maximum of 2 passengers: one on the motorbike behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
