On this sidecar tour of the Loire Valley, we'll depart from Chinon to discover its heritage and that of nearby villages like Candes-Saint-Martin and Chouzé-sur-Loire.
Chinon Private Sidecar Tour
We'll begin this tour at the Chinon Tourist Office at the designated time. You'll ride in a motorbike with a sidecar, an enjoyable way to explore this region. The tour starts with a scenic view of Chinon, including the Royal Fortress, the collegiate church of Saint Mexme , and the chapel of Sainte-Radegonde.
Next, we will depart towards Candes-Saint-Martin, where you will learn about Saint Martin of Tours and observe the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers. After this, we'll cross the Montsoreau Bridge to visit Chouzé-sur-Loire.
The tour includes a walk through the old town of Chouzé before returning to Chinon. The total duration is approximately two hours.
What are the motorbikes like?
The guide will drive all vehicles. Each motorbike accommodates a maximum of 2 passengers: one on the motorcycle behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
