Laos Cooking Class: what to expect?
After being picked up from your accommodation, you'll begin your foodie adventure of Luang Prabang. For the morning session, the experience starts with a visit to Phousi Market, where you can explore local ingredients used in Laotian cooking.
Next, you will proceed to the Cooking School to prepare a complete menu of popular Laotian dishes.
Different "jeow": Laos' spicy dipping sauces.Mok pa: steamed fish wrapped in banana leaves.Speciality with tamarind: lemongrass stuffed with chicken & herbs.Laap/koy: a salad with minced meat and herbs.Dessert will be a surprise!
You will also learn the traditional method for cooking and eating sticky rice. After cooking, you'll enjoy the meal you prepared while your chef shares insights about Laos' culinary history and traditions.
