Laos Cooking Class: what to expect?
After being picked up from your accommodation at the scheduled time, you'll start your foodie adventure in Luang Prabang. For those choosing the morning session, the experience begins with a visit to Phousi Market, the city's largest food market. Here, you'll engage with locals and discover the typical ingredients used in Laotian cooking.
Next, you'll proceed to the Cooking School for the main part of your activity, where you'll use fresh local produce to prepare a complete menu of popular Laotian dishes.
Different "jeow": Laos' spicy dipping sauces.Mok pa: steamed fish wrapped in banana leaves.Tamarind’s speciality: lemongrass stuffed with chicken & herbs.Laap/koy: a salad with minced meat and herbs.Dessert will be a surprise!
You will also learn the tradition of cooking and eating sticky rice. After cooking, you'll enjoy your creations while the chef shares insights about the culinary history and traditions of Laos.

The visit to Phousi Market is included only in the morning class option. The afternoon class consists solely of the cooking lesson and meal.
