Electric Bike Tours from Castro

On this excursion from Castro, you'll embark on an electric bike route through Chiloé. You can select from a tour through Quinchao, Lemuy, Rilán, or Queilen.

Options

Upon reservation, you can choose one of the following electric bike tours from Castro. All options include transfers and a support vehicle; some come with a guide:

Quinchao Island guided tour (8-9 hours)

Pickup is at 9 am from your hotel in Castro. Travel to Dalcahue pier to catch a boat to Quinchao Island for a 25-kilometer (15.5-mile) bike tour.

Stops include the Changuitad viewpoint for snacks, Curaco de Vélez for wetlands observation and church visit, and a meal at Ostras Los Troncos or a picnic. The tour continues to Chullec and Achao for lunch and returns via ferry to Dalcahue.

Quinchao Island self-guided tour (8-9 hours)

Pickup at 9 am, followed by ferry to Quinchao Island. You can cycle at your own pace, with self-arranged oyster tasting costing between 3000CLP and 5000CLP. The route ends in Achao, where a transfer back to Dalcahue is provided.

Lemuy Island guided tour (10-11 hours)

Departure is at 8:30 am to Huicha dock for a ferry to Lemuy Island, followed by a low-difficulty 28-kilometer (17 miles) bike tour. Key stops include the Church of Ichuac, Muelle de los Brujos, and lunch in Puqueldón. Return ferry to Huicha and transfer back to your hotel.

Lemuy Island self-guided tour (10-11 hours)

Pickup from your hotel leads you to Huicha for a ferry to Lemuy Island, where you cycle at your own pace. Entrance fees include Muelle de Los Brujos and Parque Yayanes at 2000CLP each. Finish in Aldachildo for pickup.

Rilán guided tour (8-9 hours)

Pickup is at 9 am for a 30-kilometer (18.6-mile) cycling route around the Rilán peninsula. Highlights include the village's church, local viewpoints, and a Chiloé dish for lunch. Return to your hotel after the tour.

Rilán self-guided tour (8-9 hours)

From your hotel, travel to Rilán peninsula for a self-guided cycling tour. Lunch option available for 15000CLP. Pickup is provided afterwards.

Queilen guided tour (10-11 hours)

Departure is at 8:30 am to the Queilen peninsula for a 21-kilometer (13 miles) bike route. Stops include Lelbún, Church of Aituy, and a boat ride to see dolphins and native penguins, including seafood tasting. Return to your hotel follows.
