Electric Bike Tours from Castro

On this excursion from Castro, you'll embark on an electric bike route through the landscapes of Chiloé. You can choose between a tour through Quinchao, Lemuy, Rilán, or Queilen.

Options

When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following electric bike tours from Castro. All options include transfers and a support vehicle; some may include a guide:

Quinchao Island guided tour (8-9 hours)

Pickup at 9 am at your hotel in Castro, ferry to Quinchao Island, followed by a 25-kilometer electric bike tour. Stops include Changuitad viewpoint, Curaco de Vélez for birdwatching and a church visit, and a meal at restaurant Ostras Los Troncos or a picnic. The tour concludes with a return ferry to Dalcahue and transfer back to your hotel.

Quinchao Island self-guided tour (8-9 hours)

Pickup at 9 am, ferry to Quinchao Island, and bike at your own pace. Oyster tasting is available for 3000CLP to 5000CLP. The tour ends in Achao, and you'll be transferred back to Castro.

Lemuy Island guided tour (10-11 hours)

Pickup at 8:30 am, ferry to Chulchuy on Lemuy Island, followed by a 28-kilometer electric bike route. Stops include the Church of Ichuac, a local picnic lunch in Puqueldón, and visits to Parque Yayanes and Aldachildo. The tour concludes at the Chulchuy pier for ferry return to Castro.

Lemuy Island self-guided tour (10-11 hours)

Pickup from your hotel, ferry to Lemuy Island for a self-paced cycling tour. Entrance fees are 2000CLP per person for the pier and Parque Yayanes. The tour ends in Aldachildo, with a ferry return to Huicha and transfer back to Castro.

Rilán guided tour (8-9 hours)

Pickup at 9 am, cycling tour in the Rilán peninsula covering 30 kilometers. Stops include a wooden church, viewpoints, and a local restaurant for a traditional meal. The tour concludes with transfer back to your accommodation.

Rilán self-guided tour (8-9 hours)

From your hotel, transfer to Rilán for a self-guided tour. Enjoy lunch for 15000CLP along the route, ending with pickup and return to your hotel.

Queilen guided tour (10-11 hours)

Departure at 8:30 am, biking route in the Queilen peninsula covering 21 kilometers. Stops include Lelbún and the Church of Aituy, followed by a boat ride to see dolphins and penguins with seafood tasting on board. The tour concludes with coffee and cake before returning to Castro.
