Spend a day at Tepuhueico Park and traverse over 20,000 hectares of forests with centennial trees and hidden waterfalls in Chilean nature!

Tepuhueico Day Trip

We'll meet at Plaza de Armas in Castro or pick you up from your hotel to start our day trip to Tepuhueico Park. Our first stop is at Tepuhueico Park's entrance, where the groundkeeping team will welcome us and provide detailed information about the many trails within the park. With over 20,000 hectares, there's a trail for everybody!

Let's lace up our hiking boots and set off into the wild! We'll traverse several different trails together, including the waterfall hiking trail, surrounded by vegetation, bird species, and landscape views.

At the end of the trail, we'll visit the Tepuhueico Lodge for lunch, featuring traditional dishes that include soup or salad as a starter, a meat or fish plate as an entree, and dessert.

After lunch, we'll explore the lodge's gardens and stroll along the banks of Lake Tepuhueico, admiring various species of flora and fauna. After 4-5 hours of natural adventure, we’ll return to the meeting point.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in Castro and Chonchi. If you're staying in a different area of Chiloé Isla Grande, you may purchase the tour without pickup and meet us directly at Plaza de Armas de Castro.
