- 1 Bewertung
On this hike, we'll tour the coastline of Tepuhueico Park, known for its dunes and the color contrast between the green jungle and blue water.
Hike Details
At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel, or you can meet us directly at the lodge in Tepuhueico Park to start this hiking activity around Chiloé's Pacific coastline. After preparing, we will begin exploring the coastal area.
We will first walk towards Quilán Beach to admire the sand dunes and natural beauty. We will also see the Muelle del Tiempo at Punta Pilol, perfect for numerous photos.
This beach, the largest on the Isla Grande de Chiloé, is famous for gold diggers and fossil discoveries, which we will discuss.
Our hike continues along the Tepuhueico Coast to a viewpoint, where we may spot the Lile duck, native to Chile and Peru.
Next, we will hike towards the Tricolour Beach, named for its vibrant colors, where we'll learn about local fishing and seaweed-collecting traditions. The entire tour lasts between 5 and 6 hours before we return to the starting point.
Hotel Pickup
This tour includes pickup from the hotels in Castro and Chonchi. If staying elsewhere, you can opt for the tour without pickup and arrive at the Tepuhueico Lodge independently.
