- 1 Bewertung
On this hike, we'll tour the coastline of Tepuhueico Park, known for its dunes and contrasting colors of the jungle and water.
Hike Details
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel or you can meet us directly at the lodge in Tepuhueico Park. We will start our hiking activity around Chiloé's Pacific coastline.
We will explore the coastal area of Tepuhueico Park, beginning with a walk towards Quilán Beach to admire the sand dunes. This area includes the Muelle del Tiempo at Punta Pilol, perfect for photos.
Quilán Beach is the largest beach on Isla Grande de Chiloé, noted for its history with gold diggers and fossils. We will share insights on these topics.
Continuing on foot, we will visit a viewpoint for birdwatching, including the Lile duck, a native species of Chile and Peru.
After observing cliffs with stunning views, we will hike to the Tricolour Beach, named for the colours of the forest, sand, and sea, where we will learn about local fishing and seaweed-collecting traditions. Our hike will last between 5 and 6 hours before returning to the starting point.
