Why visit Tepuhueico Park?
Located in the heart of the Grande de Chiloé Island, Tepuhueico Park is a key native Chilean forest focused on the conservation of flora, fauna, and wild mushrooms. Covering 20,000 hectares (49,421 acres), it offers nature enthusiasts an ideal destination.
Your ticket grants access to the two sections of Tepuhueico Park: the forest area and the coastal area, with trails over 10 kilometres (6.2 miles). These trails lead through dense forests and alongside the Bravo River, allowing visitors to appreciate waterfalls, cliffs, and dunes.
The park hosts a diverse range of wildlife, including numerous bird species like the kingfisher, chucao, and royal woodpecker, along with animals such as the Chiloé fox, pudu, and occasional sightings of dolphins and whales near the coast.
