Begin your journey into the jungle as you traverse the hanging bridges and serene water basins on this remarkable day trip to Gloriapata from Tingo María. A stunning waterfall soaring 82 feet will be one of the highlights of your experience.

The adventure kicks off at 8 am when we'll collect you from your accommodation in Tingo María and head towards the Mariano Dámaso Beraún district. Here lies the expansive Tingo María National Park, which we will navigate around on our way to the stunning Gloriapata Waterfall.

Accessing this picturesque location involves crossing a suspension bridge to the right side of the park, followed by a 45-minute trek through the lush jungle. During this journey, you'll encounter the Tres de Mayo micro-watershed, a natural reservoir where rainwater gathers, providing sustenance for the diverse flora and fauna that reside in this vibrant ecosystem, including orchids, medicinal plants, various bird species, and butterflies.

After our invigorating hike, the grand finale awaits at the 80-foot (25 meters) waterfall, which cascades into a large pool of crystal-clear waters—an ideal spot for a refreshing swim to cool off.

You'll have time to unwind and enjoy this pristine area, with opportunities for bird watching near the waterfall. If the timing is right, you might catch a glimpse of parrots and the Andean cock-of-the-rock, particularly active during the sunset hours.

Finally, we will make our way back to the minibus for the return trip to Tingo María, with a planned arrival back at your hotel around 2 pm.
