Embark on an adventure to the jungle and walk along hanging bridges and water basins on our Gloriapata Day Trip from Tingo María, where we will see a spectacular waterfall.

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Tingo María and drive to the district of Mariano Dámaso Baeraúm. This area is home to the Tingo María National Park, a nature reserve we will skirt until we reach the Gloriapata Waterfall.

We will access the waterfall via a suspension bridge and set off on a 45-minute jungle walk. Along the way, we will observe the Tres de Mayo micro-watershed, which provides water for various jungle species, including orchids, medicinal plants, birds, and butterflies.

Upon completing our hike, we will reach the 80-foot (25-metre) high waterfall, which forms a large pool of crystal-clear water ideal for a refreshing dip. You will have free time to relax and go bird watching around the waterfall, with the chance to see parrots and Andean cock-of-the-rocks, particularly at sunset.

Afterward, we will stroll back to the minibus for our return to Tingo María, with an expected arrival at your hotel at 2 pm.
