Enjoy a day of hiking and swimming in natural pools on our San Miguel Day Trip. We'll leave Tingo María behind and spend an unforgettable day immersed in Peruvian nature.
San Miguel Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tingo María and head to San Miguel in the province of Pachitea. The journey will take around 1 hour, passing through villages like Cayumba and Chinchavito.
Upon arriving in San Miguel, we'll begin a jungle hike, crossing streams, creeks and tropical vegetation. After an hour's walk through the Amazon, we will reach the San Miguel Waterfall, notable for its height of 650 feet (200 metres).
You will have some free time to take pictures, swim in the natural pool under the waterfall, or try sport fishing, as the area is rich in fish.
After enjoying the waterfall, we'll return to San Miguel and then to Tingo María, with an expected arrival at your hotel by 3 pm.
