Tingo María National Park Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to Tingo María National Park, located south of the city of the same name.

This natural reserve covers an area of 4,777 hectares and includes the mountain range known as La Bella Durmiente (Sleeping Beauty) and a system of subway caverns. During the tour, we'll admire these mountains and reveal the legend behind their name.

The first stop will be in Cueva de Las Lechuzas (Cave of the Owls), a karstic cavern with stalactites and stalagmites which houses unexplored galleries. Its tunnels are inhabited by various native species such as bats, guacharos, parrots, and swallows.

After the cave visit, we'll go to a handicrafts center in the park to learn about the works of the local Indigenous Peoples. Then we'll stop at Aguas Sulfurosas natural spa, known for the healing properties of its waters.

Finally, after five hours of exploring Tingo María National Park, we'll return to your hotel.
