Ugarteche River Basin Day Trip

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Tingo María for a 30-minute journey to the district of Hermilio Valdizán.

The Ugarteche River is situated in eastern Peru and is surrounded by a landscape featuring lush vegetation and freshwater springs.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a 1-hour walk through the jungle to explore the Ugarteche River basin. This trek will highlight various species of flora and fauna, along with information on different tropical crops and the region's biodiversity.

During the walk, we'll discover waterfalls and natural pools, including Neptune Falls. A stop will be made at this location for rest and an opportunity to swim.

After enjoying this spectacular natural area, we will make our way back to the jungle's edge, where our bus will be ready to return you to Tingo María, arriving at your hotel by 3 pm.
