- 1 Bewertung
On this boat trip in the Cienfuegos Bay, we'll sail to the Castle of Jagua, one of the best-preserved fortresses in Cuba.
Description
Cienfuegos exists thanks to its bay. On this boat trip, we'll learn about this city from the water. We'll meet at the Muelle Real port to begin our adventure.
We'll board a traditional boat and cruise around the bay of Cienfuegos, whose waters flow into the Caribbean Sea through a narrow channel.
During the boat trip, we'll stop by cays and islets for swimming opportunities. We can also visit the local church in the fishing settlement of El Perché, and several local restaurants overlooking the sea where you can enjoy lunch.
You'll experience Cuban music and learn about the history and biodiversity of Cienfuegos.
The boat will anchor at the pier of Punta Majagua for you to visit the Castillo de Jagua, a monument erected by order of Ferdinand V to protect against attacks from pirates and corsairs. You'll have free time to explore this site.
Finally, we'll regroup and sail back to the starting point, concluding the trip after 6 hours of activity.
