- 1 Bewertung
On this boat trip in the Cienfuegos Bay, we'll sail to the Castle of Jagua, one of the best-preserved fortresses in Cuba.
Description
Cienfuegos exists thanks to its bay. This boat trip offers an opportunity to learn about the city from the water. We will meet at the Muelle Real port to begin our adventure.
We'll board a traditional boat and cruise around Cienfuegos Bay, which connects to the Caribbean Sea through a narrow channel.
During the trip, we'll stop at cays and islets for swimming. A break will be taken at the local church in the fishing settlement of El Perché, as well as at local restaurants overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy lunch.
You will experience Cuban music and gain insights into the history and biodiversity of Cienfuegos.
The boat will anchor at the pier of Punta Majagua for you to explore the Castillo de Jagua, a monument built by Ferdinand V to defend against pirates and corsairs.
After free time at the castle, we will regroup and sail back to the starting point, concluding the trip after 6 hours of activity.
