Day Trip to Cienfuegos Botanical Garden

Botanical Garden Highlights

At the designated time, pickup will be from your hotel, initiating our day trip to the Cienfuegos Botanical Garden. Located just 20 minutes from the city center, this garden is significant and one of the oldest in Cuba.

Upon arrival, we will walk through 94 hectares (232 acres) of the Cienfuegos Botanical Garden. During our exploration, we will encounter over 2,000 species of trees, including 23 varieties of bamboo and 150 types of palms.

Insights into the garden's history will be provided, tracing back to the late 19th century when entrepreneur Edwin F. Atkins from the United States acquired the old sugar mill for botanical research on sugar cane.

We will conclude the tour by exploring a wide array of plants from all corners of the globe found in the garden. After a 3-hour journey, we will return you to your hotel, completing the activity.
