Guanaroca Lagoon Boat Tour

Embark on a boat tour of the Guanaroca Lagoon, a protected sanctuary in Cienfuegos, where you'll encounter colonies of flamingos and various aquatic bird species.

Description

This adventure begins with pickup at your Cienfuegos hotel, followed by a boat journey to explore the Guanaroca Lagoon, a natural park rich in biodiversity along Cuba's southern coast.

Upon arrival at Guanaroca Lagoon, surrounded by vegetation, we'll board the boat to navigate its mix of fresh and salt waters. Guanaroca is formed by the Arimao River's convergence before it flows into the Bay of Cienfuegos.

The boat tour will traverse a protected area that includes the Laberintos de los Naturales, Cayo Ocampo, and smaller keys within the bay. Expect to see vibrant pink flamingo colonies and other migratory bird species as well as rich mangroves.

After 2.5 hours, we will conclude our nature adventure and return you to your hotel in Cienfuegos.
