On this 4-day tour through southern Sonora, we will learn about the history of this state and visit picturesque places like the Pueblo Mágico of Álamos.

Southern Sonora 4-Day Tour

Day 1: Ciudad Obregón

Upon landing at Ciudad Obregón International Airport, we will pick you up and drive to the historic center for a two-hour city tour, including the Plaza de Armas and the statue of Alvaro Obregón. After the visit, you will check into the hotel with the rest of the afternoon free for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Ciudad Obregón - Cócorit - Navojoa

After an American breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Cócorit, founded by Jesuits in 1617. We will explore its streets and visit the Yo'o Juara butterfly sanctuary. Lunch will be at Los Chanates restaurant, followed by a brief tour in Navojoa, concluding at the Parish Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. You can have dinner on your own at the hotel.

Day 3: Navojoa - Álamos

At 8 am, enjoy a continental breakfast before departing for the Pueblo Mágico of Álamos. Activities include a hiking route to Cerro El Tecolote, lunch in town, and visits to the Museo Costumbrista del Estado de Sonora and a tourist train ride. A guided stroll through the old city will follow, including sites like the Plaza de Armas and the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Free time to rest is available from 8 pm.

Day 4: Álamos - Ciudad Obregón

We will have breakfast and then visit the María Félix Museum. Following this, we will hike for two hours in the Sierra de Álamos–Río Cuchujaqui Flora & Fauna Protection Area. After lunch in Navojoa, we will head to Ciudad Obregón International Airport, with an expected arrival at 3 pm.

When reserving, consider your arrival time at Ciudad Obregón International Airport on the last day. You should be there two hours before your flight's departure.
