El Salto + El Meco Waterfalls Excursion

Discover the waterfalls of the Salto River on this trip to El Salto and El Meco Waterfalls from Ciudad Valles.

Description

We'll collect you from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles and head towards San Luis Potosí, in the Huasteca Region, to visit the El Salto Waterfall.

At 70 metres (229 ft.), this waterfall is surrounded by vegetation and rocks. The Salto River flows into turquoise pools suitable for swimming.

Next, we'll visit the Meco Waterfall viewpoint. Afterward, we will canoe to the next waterfall, which stands at 30 metres (98 ft.). Adventurous participants can jump from the top of the waterfall, while others can swim and enjoy the scenery.

We will enjoy a traditional dish from the area at around 4 pm at a nearby restaurant. Finally, we'll return to Ciudad Valles, with an expected total duration of around 10.5 hours for the tour.
