El Salto + El Meco Waterfalls Excursion

Discover the waterfalls of the Salto River on this trip to El Salto and El Meco Waterfalls from Ciudad Valles.

Description

We'll collect you from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles and head towards San Luis Potosí in the Huasteca Region, where we will see the El Salto Waterfall.

The waterfall, standing at 70 meters (229 ft.), is surrounded by dense vegetation and rocks. The Salto River flows into turquoise-coloured pools for a refreshing dip.

Next, we’ll visit the Meco Waterfall viewpoint for impressive views. Following this, we will take a canoe towards the next waterfall, which is 30 meters (98 ft.) high. Adventurous participants can jump from the top, or choose to swim and enjoy the scenery.

We will enjoy a traditional local dish at around 4 pm at a nearby restaurant. Finally, we'll return to Ciudad Valles, arriving back approximately 10.5 hours after departure.
