Swim in five of the idyllic Huasteca waterfalls with this fantastic trip from Ciudad Valles. You'll discover the beautiful cascades of Micos, Toro, Minas Viejas, El Salto, and El Meco.

Huasteca Waterfalls Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel at 9 am and depart from Ciudad Valles for the Micos River, a 40-minute drive away.

Upon arrival, we'll take a gentle stroll along the riverbank to reach the Cascada de Micos, over 49 metres (160 ft) high, where we will swim in the plunge pool.

Next, we'll visit the Cascada del Toro, with its emerald pool, a prime swimming location in the jungle. Afterward, we will head by bus to El Naranjo, located about an hour away.

Here, we'll discover the Minas Viejas Waterfall, swim in its pool, and enjoy an energy bar and iced tea. We will then drive for about 50 minutes to El Salto Waterfall, approximately 70 metres (230 ft) high, where we have half an hour to swim.

The final waterfall will be the Meco Waterfall, 35 metres (115 ft) high, offering a scenic viewpoint. We will return to El Naranjo for a lunch with a drink and a traditional dish.

Finally, we'll return to Ciudad Valles at 7 pm and drop you off at your accommodation.

Pickup is available only at hotels within Ciudad Valles. There is an extra charge for accommodations outside the city, which varies by location.
