Tamul Waterfall Canoe Trip

  • 9 Stunden
  • 9/10 | 4 Bewertungen

Ciudad Valles is synonymous with adventure. Discover it from a canoe, while admiring the biggest waterfall in San Luis Potosi and bathing in a sunken cenote, like a true explorer!

What to expect?

We will pick you up at your hotel at 9 am and leave Ciudad Valles for the Tampaón River. Once on the shore, the guide will explain how to paddle upstream.

After the lesson, we will board the pangas, the traditional wooden canoes. We will navigate through the calm turquoise waters of the Tampaón River. Amid high rocky walls and hanging gardens, we will see the impressive Tamul Waterfall, which rises up 345 feet, the largest in San Luis Potosi.

Next, we'll continue rowing upstream and stop to explore the Cueva del Agua (Cave of Water), also known as the sunken Cenote Huasteco, characterized by its crystal clear waters reaching a depth of 80 feet.

After relaxing in the natural pool, we'll paddle back to the Tampaón Riverbank and head to a local restaurant for a traditional lunch and a drink.

Finally, we will return to Ciudad Valles, arriving at 6 pm, and drop you off at your accommodation, concluding the excursion.
