- 6 Bewertungen
Ciudad Valles is synonymous with adventure. Discover it from a canoe, while admiring the biggest waterfall in San Luis Potosi and bathing in a sunken cenote, like a true explorer!
What to expect?
We will pick you up at your hotel at 9 am and leave Ciudad Valles towards the Tampaón River. A guide will provide instructions on how to paddle upstream.
After the lesson, we will board pangas, traditional wooden canoes. We will navigate through the turquoise waters of the Tampaón River. High rocky walls and hanging gardens surround us as we admire the Tamul Waterfall, rising 345 feet, the highest in San Luis Potosi.
We will continue rowing upstream, stopping to explore the Cueva del Agua (Cave of Water), also known as the sunken Cenote Huasteco, with crystal clear waters reaching 80 feet in depth.
After relaxing in the natural pool, we'll paddle back to the Tampaón Riverbank and then proceed to a local restaurant for a traditional lunch and a drink.
We will return to Ciudad Valles by 6 pm, concluding with drop-off at your accommodation.
