- 9/10 | 4 Bewertungen
Ciudad Valles is synonymous with adventure. Discover it from a canoe, while admiring the biggest waterfall in San Luis Potosi and bathing in a sunken cenote, like a true explorer!
What to expect?
We will pick you up at your hotel at 9 am and leave Ciudad Valles for the Tampaón River. Upon arrival, the guide will provide a brief explanation on how to paddle upstream.
We will board the pangas, traditional wooden canoes. Paddling through the turquoise waters of the Tampaón River, we’ll navigate between rocky walls and hanging gardens, discovering the Tamul Waterfall, which rises 345 feet high, the largest in San Luis Potosi.
Next, we’ll row upstream and stop to explore the Cueva del Agua (Cave of Water) or sunken Cenote Huasteco. This cavern features crystal clear waters with a depth of 80 feet.
After relaxing in the natural pool, we’ll paddle back to the Tampaón Riverbank and enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. We will return to Ciudad Valles by 6 pm, concluding the excursion at your accommodation.
