Xilitla and Sótano de las Golondrinas Trip

Pickup at your hotel in Ciudad Valles at 9 am and a 50-minute journey will take you to Xilitla. Discover why it is called "the magic town." Visit the Edward James Surrealist Garden, featuring exotic vegetation, waterfalls, and natural pools. After an appetizer of an energy bar and iced tea, explore the center of Xilitla, its colorful streets, elegant mansions, and enjoy a traditional lunch and drink at a local restaurant.

Next, head to the village of Aquismón to see the Sótano de las Golondrinas, the sixth deepest natural abyss in the world at 512 meters (1679 feet). Return to Ciudad Valles at 8:30 pm for hotel drop-off.

Xilitla and Sótano de las Huahuas Trip

Pickup begins at 9 am from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles. After an hour's drive with an energy bar and iced tea, arrive at the Edward James Surrealist Garden to experience waterfalls and unique structures. Next, explore old town Xilitla, observing stately homes and enjoying a traditional lunch and drink.

Finally, make a stop in Aquismón to visit the Sótano de las Huahuas, a natural abyss that is 478 meters (1568 feet) deep, and view the exotic birds inhabiting it. Return to Ciudad Valles at 9 pm for hotel drop-off.
