Discover Xilitla, a magical town in the province of San Luis Potosi. You will stroll through its picturesque streets, explore Edward James' Surrealist Garden, and see a natural abyss in the middle of the jungle.

In addition to visiting Xilitla and its Surrealist Garden, you can choose between two options for exploring a natural abyss.

Xilitla and Sótano de las Golondrinas Trip

Pickup at the hotel in Ciudad Valles is at 9 am. After a 50-minute drive, we will arrive in Xilitla, known as the "magic town." You will visit the Edward James Surrealist Garden, featuring exotic plants, buildings, waterfalls, and natural pools. We will have a snack of an energy bar and iced tea before exploring the center of Xilitla, where we will enjoy a traditional lunch and drink.

Afterward, we will head to the village of Aquismón to see the Sótano de las Golondrinas, the sixth deepest natural abyss in the world at 512 meters (1679 feet). We will return to Ciudad Valles at 8:30 pm.

Xilitla and Sótano de las Huahuas Trip

Pickup at your accommodation is at 9 am. Following an hour's drive and a snack, we will visit the Edward James Surrealist Garden. You will then explore the old town of Xilitla and enjoy a traditional lunch and drink.

Afterward, we will travel to Aquismón to see the Sótano de las Huahuas, a natural abyss of 478 meters (1568 feet). We will return to Ciudad Valles at 9 pm.

Pickup Points

Pickup takes place only at hotels within Ciudad Valles. An extra charge applies for accommodations outside the city, varying by location.
