In addition to visiting Xilitla and its Surrealist Garden, you can choose between two natural abysses: Sótano de las Golondrinas and Sótano de las Huahuas.

Xilitla and Sótano de las Golondrinas Trip

Pickup is at your hotel in Ciudad Valles at 9 am. The journey to Xilitla takes 50 minutes. You will visit the Edward James Surrealist Garden, encountering unique structures among the vegetation.

Afterward, enjoy an energy bar and iced tea, then explore the colorful streets of Xilitla, including a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, visit the Sótano de las Golondrinas, the sixth deepest natural abyss in the world at 512 meters (1679 feet). Return to Ciudad Valles at 8:30 pm for your accommodation drop-off.

Xilitla and Sótano de las Huahuas Trip

Pickup is at your accommodation at 9 am for the journey to Xilitla. After an hour's drive with refreshments, visit the Edward James Surrealist Garden and explore the town for a traditional lunch.

Then, head to Aquismón and discover the Sótano de las Huahuas, a natural abyss 478 meters (1568 feet) deep, where you can observe the interior and local birds.

Return to Ciudad Valles by 9 pm and drop-off at your hotel concludes the excursion.

Pickup is available only at hotels within Ciudad Valles. An extra charge applies for accommodations outside the city, varying by location.
