Xilitla and Sótano de las Golondrinas Trip

Pickup at hotel in Ciudad Valles at 9 am for a 50-minute journey to Xilitla. Visit the Edward James Surrealist Garden, exploring its unique structures surrounded by nature. Enjoy an appetizer of an energy bar and iced tea before visiting the town center for a traditional lunch and drink. Then, continue to Aquismón to see the Sótano de las Golondrinas, the sixth deepest natural abyss in the world at 512 metres (1679 feet). Return to Ciudad Valles by 8:30 pm.

Xilitla and Sótano de las Huahuas Trip

Pickup at your accommodation at 9 am to leave Ciudad Valles for Xilitla. After an hour's drive with an energy bar and iced tea, explore the Edward James Surrealist Garden. Visit the old town for a traditional lunch and drink. Next, stop in Aquismón to see the Sótano de las Huahuas, a natural abyss 478 metres (1568 feet) deep, where you can observe exotic birds. Return to Ciudad Valles by 9 pm.
