Menorca PADI Open Water Diving Course

Are you in Menorca and feeling like having the adventure of a lifetime? Join us for this PADI Open Water diving course in Son Xoriguer. We'll combine diving theory with practice in the beautiful Mediterranean.

Menorca PADI Open Water Diving Course

Day 1

We'll meet at the indicated time at Carrer la Platja in Son Xoriguer and begin our PADI Open Water Diver course in the diving school. You'll receive a manual with basic diving concepts prior to the first day. We'll cover buoyancy, underwater communication signals, and dive planning. A test must be passed before practical sessions.

Day 2 and 3

On the next days, after meeting at the diving school, we'll go to the beach for the dives. In total, we'll conduct four dives, maximum two per day. Accompanied by the instructor, you'll explore the beauty of Menorca's seabed while improving your diving technique.

Dives will occur at depths of 5-18 meters (16-60 feet); children ages 10 to 11 will have a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet). You'll learn to be autonomous divers and receive the international PADI Open Water Diver certificate and license at the end of the course.

Duration of the diving course

The course can last either 2 or 3 days, depending on your availability. You may choose theory on the first day and dives on the following two, or combine theory with the first two practice dives on day one and complete two more dives the next day.

Important

After the last dive, you must wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane or going to high-altitude areas.
