Menorca PADI Open Water Diving Course

Are you in Menorca and feeling like having the adventure of a lifetime? Join us for this PADI Open Water diving course in Son Xoriguer. We'll combine diving theory with practice in the beautiful Mediterranean.

Menorca PADI Open Water Diving Course

Day 1

We'll meet at the indicated time at Carrer la Platja in Son Xoriguer and begin our PADI Open Water Diver course in the diving school. Upon reservation, you'll receive a manual with basic diving concepts, which we'll review on the first day. Topics include buoyancy, underwater communication signals, and dive planning. You must pass a test to proceed to practical sessions.

Day 2 and 3

On the next days, after meeting at the diving school, we’ll go to the beach for dives. In total, we'll do four dives, maximum two per day. Accompanied by the instructor, you'll explore Menorca's seabed while improving your diving technique.

We will dive to a depth of between 5-18 meters (16-60 feet), with children aged 10-11 limited to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet). You will learn to become autonomous divers and at the end of the course, you will receive the international PADI Open Water Diver certificate and license.

Duration of the diving course

The course can last either 2 or 3 days. You may choose to complete the theory class on the first day and the dives over two days, or combine theory with the first 2 practice dives on day one and finish with 2 more dives the next day.

Important

After the last dive, you must wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane or going to high-altitude areas.
