Tampa Bay is home to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a rescue and rehabilitation center for Atlantic wildlife.

With this Clearwater Marine Aquarium ticket, you'll learn about their mission to care for and protect injured creatures. At the aquarium, you will find bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays; you can feed them and take pictures. The facility also offers a tour of the aquarium's hospital, where you will see how caregivers assist rescued animals.

You can visit the memorial of the former star of the aquarium, the dolphin Winter. After losing her tail due to a net, Winter learned to swim again with a prosthetic device. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium provided her care and a home after her accident.

Opening Hours

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm. On December 24 it will close at 2 pm, and on December 31 at 4 pm. The centre will be closed on Thanksgiving.
