Hike Details
We'll meet at the designated time at 933R North Rd before heading to Duder Regional Park, which spans 148 hectares of diverse landscape, including cliffs and native forests.
This guided walking tour includes various landscapes and secluded coves, highlighting the area's history and scenic views. We will start with a stop at Maraetai Beach for a short rest and photo opportunities of the turquoise water from the jetty.
Next, we will proceed to Duder Regional Park and embark on the Duder Coastal Clifftop Trail, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf. The route will include multiple viewpoints through farmland, with the guide providing insights on geological aspects and conservation efforts. If time allows, we may reach the Whakakaiwhara Point Peninsula.
The tour lasts a total of 4 hours of hiking before returning to the vehicle and transporting participants back to designated meeting points in Auckland.
