Clorinda & Pilcomayo River Tour

At 7:30 am, we'll meet at Roque Saenz Peña Avenue in Clorinda for a panoramic tour of this city in the Argentinian province of Formosa. During the tour, we will explore the history of Clorinda's main monuments, including the parishes of Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, San Juan Bautista, and San José Esposo de María.

At mid-morning, we'll have a light snack in the center of Clorinda before heading to the banks of the Pilcomayo River. You can choose your preferred paddle boat: a kayak, a canoe, or a rowboat. We will embark on an exciting paddling tour on the Pilcomayo River, where we will enjoy the natural scenery.

The first part of the paddle tour lasts 2 hours, with stops every 30 minutes to rest, take pictures, and observe native fauna, including Formosan birds, howler monkeys, mountain foxes, coatis, and river otters. We will conclude this section with a picnic featuring a typical Formosan dish.

After lunch, we will relax by fishing in the river and then paddle for an additional hour. Following the paddle tour, we'll drive to the El Porteño neighborhood of Clorinda for a snack, including cocido quemado and other local specialties.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.
