This guided tour of Cochabamba will show you around the main buildings and monuments of the historic centre of this Bolivian city, including the San Sebastian Cathedral and urban art murals.
Cochabamba Guided Tour
We'll meet at 2 pm in the central Plaza de Colón to begin our guided tour. After admiring the square, El Hospicio church, and the Colón building, we will commence our walking tour.
During the walk, we'll explore murals dedicated to the women of Cochabamba who historically protected their territory. Following this, we will visit the famous murals "Ángel Andino" and "Tinku Callejero."
Our next stop will be the 25 de Mayo market to experience local lifestyles and we will try some phisara, a quinoa-based dish with fresh cheese and potatoes.
The tour then proceeds to Plaza 14 de Septiembre, home to the Catedral de San Sebastián, a 17th-century structure, where we will discuss the Bolivian coat of arms and flag.
The guided tour of Cochabamba concludes in Plaza 14 de Septiembre at 4:30 pm after a two-and-a-half hour exploration.
