Cochabamba Guided Tour
We'll meet at 2 pm in the central Plaza de Colón to begin our guided tour of Cochabamba. After admiring the square, El Hospicio church, and the Colón building, we'll set off on our walking tour of the city.
As we walk, we'll marvel at the murals dedicated to the women of Cochabamba, who performed an important act of bravery at the beginning of the 19th century. We'll find out about them during this part of the tour. Afterwards, we'll visit the murals "Ángel Andino" and "Tinku Callejero".
Next, we'll head to the 25 de Mayo market, where you'll observe the lifestyles of the inhabitants of this region. Nearby, we'll try phisara, a quinoa-based dish with fresh cheese and potatoes.
The tour will then take us to the Plaza 14 de Septiembre square, where we will admire the Catedral de San Sebastián, a 17th-century cathedral with a magnificent tower. We will also explain the meaning of the Bolivian coat of arms and flag.
The guided tour of Cochabamba ends in the Plaza 14 de Septiembre at 4:30 pm after a two-and-a-half hour walk through the city.
