Cochabamba Tour
We'll start our full tour of Cochabamba at the Plaza de las Banderas at 8:30 am. During the route we'll visit the main attractions of the Bolivian city without missing anything.
We'll begin by visiting the Plaza de las Banderas and Plaza de Colón, home to significant public and religious buildings such as the old temple of the Hospicio. Next, we'll go to the convent of Santa Teresa, now a museum, and take a guided tour of the monastery. Afterward, we'll proceed to the Palacio Portales, an architectural blend of colonial and neoclassical styles.
We will pass the Cancha market, the largest open-air market in Latin America.
We'll stop for a typical lunch that includes a starter and a main course, and then continue by bus to the viewpoint of the Cristo de la Concordia, the second tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world at 34.20 metres (112 feet).
After enjoying the panoramic view of Cochabamba, we'll visit the Alalay Lagoon, an ecological area in the southern center of the city. Finally, we'll stroll through Cochabamba's traditional neighborhoods to admire the street art before returning to Plaza 14 de Septiembre, home of the Metropolitan Cathedral, and concluding the tour at the Plaza de las Banderas at 8:30 pm.
