Tarata, Cliza & La Angostura Lake Trip

Participants will meet at 10 am in the Plaza de Colón square in Cochabamba before departing for Tarata, located approximately 50 minutes away.

In Tarata, there will be two and a half hours to explore the town's history, including visits to the San Pedro church, the Town Hall, and the Melgarejo Bridge. A traditional lunch featuring a main course and the typical drink chicha de maíz will be provided. Following lunch, a visit to the Tarata market will take place before boarding the minibus.

The next destination is the carob forest of Tiataco, a 15-minute drive away, where participants will enjoy a 35-minute hike and a brief visit to the village of Tiataco.

Following Tiataco, the tour will proceed to the Cliza farmer's market and the town's main square to view the clock tower of Nuestra Señora del Carmen church, one of the oldest in the region.

Lastly, the tour will include a stop at the Angostura lagoon before returning to Cochabamba, arriving at Plaza de Colón around 5:15 pm.
