Toro Toro 2 day Tour

Day 1

You'll be picked up at 7 am from your hotel in Cochabamba to begin this 2-day trip. The journey will take you through South Bolivia's Potosí department, allowing you to admire the villages surrounding the High Valley of Cochabamba and the Angostura Lake, an artificial 6 mile (10 kilometre) squared lake. You'll pass through the towns of Tarata, Punata, Huayculi, and Ansaldo while following the Caine River to reach the village of Toro Toro. After settling into the hotel and having lunch, you'll visit the Toro Toro National Park, which features a species protection area and a palaeontological site. You will observe dinosaur footprints and Mesozoic fossils at the archaeological site and explore the Umajalanta cavern, a 4 mile (7 km) deep grotto with stalactites. After the day's activities, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

On the second day, you'll start early and have breakfast before leaving for the deepest part of the Toro Toro canyon. There, you can enjoy crystal clear water pools and swim. After your time at the gorge, lunch will be provided, and then you'll head back to Cochabamba, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
