Day 1

You'll be picked up at 7 am from your hotel in Cochabamba to begin this 2-day trip. The journey will take you through South Bolivia's department of Potosí, allowing you to admire villages surrounding the High Valley of Cochabamba and the Angostura lake, an artificial 6 mile (10 kilometre) squared lake.

En route, you'll pass through the towns of Tarata, Punata, Huayculi, and Ansaldo while following the Caine River to reach Toro Toro. After settling into the hotel and having lunch, you will head to the Toro Toro National Park, which features a species protection area and a palaeontological site.

During the trip, observe impressive dinosaur footprints and Mesozoic fossils at the archaeological site and explore the Umajalanta cavern, a 4 mile (7 km) deep grotto with stalactites and an interior lagoon inhabited by blind fish. You will return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Day 2

On the second day, you'll start early with breakfast before leaving for the deepest part of the Toro Toro canyon, where you can enjoy crystal clear water pools and a refreshing swim. After some time at the gorge, you’ll have lunch and return to Cochabamba, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
