Day 1

You'll be picked up at 7 am from your hotel in Cochabamba to begin the trip. We will head to Potosí, admiring villages in the High Valley of Cochabamba and the Angostura Lake, an artificial 6-mile (10-kilometre) lake. The journey will take us through Tarata, Punata, Huayculi, and Ansaldo, following the Caine River to reach the village of Toro Toro. After checking into the hotel and having lunch, we will visit the Toro Toro National Park, which features a species protection area and a palaeontological site.

During the visit, we will observe dinosaur footprints and Mesozoic fossils at the archaeological site and explore the Umajalanta cavern, a 4-mile (7 km) deep grotto with stalactites and an interior lagoon inhabited by blind fish. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Day 2

On the second day, we will start early with breakfast before departing for the deepest part of the Toro Toro canyon. Here, we will see crystal clear water pools and have the opportunity to swim. After enjoying some time at the gorge, we will have lunch and head back to Cochabamba, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
