Next, visit the Matancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), originally built by Portuguese settlers in 1557 as a gift to the King of Cochin. Explore its chambers filled with traditional items.
In the vicinity, see the Pardesi Synagogue in Jew Town, strolling through this Jewish neighborhood with various local shops, including antique stores and spice auctions.
