Itinerary

Your tour begins with a pickup from your hotel, leading to St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, built in 1503. You'll learn about its historical significance, notably in colonial struggles, and discover the famous Portuguese explorer buried there.

Next, visit the Dutch Palace, constructed by Portuguese colonizers as a gift to the Raja of Cochin, also known as Mattancherry Palace. The palace features well-preserved mythological murals, typical of Hindu temple art.

Then, head to the Pardesi Synagogue, located in the city's oldest area. This Jewish temple exemplifies Kochi's cultural diversity. Explore the historic center, with narrow streets and colonial-style houses.

Before concluding your tour, see the Chinese fishing nets, large structures introduced by 14th century Chinese explorers, still vital for local fishing and a symbol of the Keralan backwaters.
