Colonial Architecture Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in downtown Oaxaca and set off toward our first stop, the Ex-Convent of San Juan Bautista Coixtlahuaca.
Upon arrival, you'll observe the intricate snake-shaped details that adorn the temple's façade and interior. Next, we'll visit the Ex-Convent of San Pedro and San Pablo Teposcolula, located in one of Oaxaca's magical towns, where we will explore its open chapel, the largest in Latin America.
We'll then head to the town of San Pedro Yucunama, where we'll walk along cobblestone streets and admire its architecture while learning about the customs and traditions still practiced by the villagers.
Our final visit will be to a local family of artisans from the Mixtec region, who will welcome us into their home for a demonstration of palm handicrafts, showcasing their skills and artistry.
We'll conclude the tour with a return trip to Oaxaca, arriving back at your hotel after approximately 9 hours.
