Excursion to Monte Albán & Villages

Pickup will be at your hotel in Oaxaca to visit the archaeological site of Monte Alban, a significant site of the Zapotec civilization. The tour includes residential structures, pyramids, temples, and altars. The guide will provide details about the rites practiced there. A stop will be made at a pre-Hispanic jewellery shop to view replicas of aboriginal jewellery.

Next, the tour continues to the village of Arrazola to explore traditional Alebrijes, colorful wooden figures that reflect Mexican culture. The route then leads to San Bartolo Coyotepec to visit a black clay workshop, a hallmark of the town. Participants will have an hour of free time for lunch.

After 8 hours of exploration, participants will return to their hotels in Oaxaca.
