For those staying in Oaxaca for several days, our private tours offer the chance to explore with an English-speaking guide. Each tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, transport in a private vehicle, and lasts between 8 to 9 hours.

The following explains the particularities of each tour:

Monte Albán, San Martín Tilcajete and San Bartolo Coyotepec (8 hours)

This tour visits the Monte Albán archaeological area, passing through paths once used by the Zapotecs. We will visit San Martín Tilcajete to see craftsmen creating alebrijes, and have a stop for a traditional Oaxacan lunch. Finally, we visit San Bartolo Coyotepec for a black clay workshop.

Hierve el Agua and Teotitlán del Valle (8 hours)

The first stop is Hierve el Agua to view the petrified waterfalls. We will then have an Oaxacan lunch before visiting Teotitlán del Valle, where textile creation traditions are maintained.

Mitla, Teotitlán del Valle and Mezcal Factory (9 hours)

The tour begins at Santa María del Tule to see the tree with the widest trunk in the world, followed by a visit to the Mitla Archaeological Site. Afterward, we will visit Hierve el Agua for views and enjoy a meal at a restaurant before heading to Teotitlán del Valle for a mezcal tasting.
