Oaxaca to Huatulco: 6-Day Tour

Day 1: Oaxaca

Upon landing at the airport, you will be met in the arrivals hall and transported to a hotel in the city centre. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Oaxaca - Monte Albán - Arrazola - San Bartolo Coyotepec - Oaxaca

After breakfast, we'll visit the archaeological site of Mount Albán to learn about the Zapotec civilization. We will then go to Arrazola for a workshop visit of alebrijes. After visiting the Dominican exmonastery in Cuilápam de Guerrero, we'll head to San Bartolo Coyotepec for a black clay workshop, with an hour for lunch before returning to Oaxaca by 5:45 pm.

Day 3: Oaxaca - Tule - Teotitlán del Valle - Mitla - Oaxaca

After breakfast, you'll be picked up at 9:45 am to visit the Santa María del Tule Tree. Next, explore a weaving workshop in Teotitlán del Valle, followed by lunch on your own for an hour. We'll then visit the Mitla Archaeological Site and a mezcal distillery. Return to the hotel in Oaxaca by 5:45 pm.

Day 4: Oaxaca - Bahías de Huatulco

We'll pick you up at 6 am for a drive to the Pacific coast, with a stop in San José del Pacífico for breakfast. Arrive at the hotel in Bahías de Huatulco at 1 pm for lunch at your leisure. We will regroup at 3:45 pm for a sightseeing tour and visit a typical Mexican clothing workshop, returning to the hotel by 6:45 pm.

Day 5: Bahías de Huatulco

After breakfast, you will be picked up at 9 am to visit the Santa Cruz dock for a boat trip around the Bays of Huatulco. Enjoy coastal views, visit Huatulco National Park for an hour of snorkeling in Chachacual Bay, and relax at Maguey Bay for 2 hours before returning by 6 pm.

Day 6: Bahías de Huatulco

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we take you to the Bahía de Huatulco Airport for your departure.

This tour includes 5 nights' accommodation in:

Oaxaca (3 nights): 3-star hotels such as Oaxaca Real or similar.Bahías de Huatulco (2 nights): 3-star hotels such as Azul Sirena or similar.

Breakfasts are included on the second, third, fifth, and sixth day. Lunches and dinners are not included; you can dine at local venues for your meals.
