Oaxaca Valley 2-Day Tour

Day 1

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am and set off for Tlacolula de Matamoros, where we'll learn about the Zapotec culture. We'll visit the Church of our Lord of Tlacolula and you can enjoy a typical sorbet or charcoal-grilled dish at the local market.

Next, we'll head to Santiago Matatlán to visit a mezcal palenque and learn how mezcal is produced. You'll then have 1 hour of free time for lunch at 1 pm.

After lunch, we'll go to Benito Juárez, where we'll settle into cosy cabins with a fireplace. You will have bikes at your disposal to explore the village.

Day 2

At 9 am, we’ll embark on a 3 mile (5 kilometre) hike through the forest, observing various tree species. We'll see a 33-foot (10 metres) waterfall before heading to a suspension bridge for panoramic views.

Returning to Benito Juárez, you'll have 1 hour of free time for lunch. We’ll return to Oaxaca and drop you back at your hotel at 5 pm.
