San Agustín de Etla Day Trip

After hotel pickup, the journey begins 10 miles (17 km) from Oaxaca, heading to the Etla Valley and the village of San Agustin de Etla. Visit an old hydroelectric plant that now operates as a cooperative producing paper from natural fibers derived from tree bark, branches, and flowers.

The tour includes a stop at the San Augustin Arts Centre, or CaSa, which features modern art exhibitions in a converted textile factory.

The final stop is at a family owned cheese workshop where various types of traditional Oaxaca cheese are made.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in central Oaxaca, arriving by 2:30 pm.
