Explore the little town of San Agustin de Etla, and discover the art and gastronomy of Oaxaca's outskirts. We'll visit the Arts Centre, a cheese workshop, and a paper factory.

San Agustín de Etla Day Trip

After pick up from your hotel, we will travel 10 miles (17 km) to the Etla Valley, visiting the village of San Agustin de Etla. Here, we will see an old hydroelectric plant currently used as a cooperative for making paper from natural fibers, including tree bark, branches, and flowers.

The tour includes a visit to the San Augustin Arts Centre, known as CaSa, located in a former textile factory and hosting various modern art exhibitions.

Additionally, we will visit a family-owned cheese workshop that produces different types of typical Oaxaca cheese.

The tour will return to your hotel in central Oaxaca, arriving at 2:30 pm.
