Great cliffs, crags and rock faces as well as an impressive natural waterfall await us on this excursion to Santiago Apoala from Oaxaca, where we'll discover the fascinating landscapes of the Mixtec region.

We'll pick you up at 9 am at your hotel in Oaxaca and take you to the Mixtec region, known for its natural diversity.

First, we'll visit a local market for breakfast on your own before heading to the village of Santiago Apoala, recognized as a Mixtec paradise.

Upon arrival, we will enjoy a walk to explore the natural surroundings, starting with the famous twin crags. We will then follow the hiking route to the Tutatnoho riverbed, where you can take a refreshing dip.

Continuing our walk, we will reach the Santiago Apoala waterfall, standing at 30 meters high (98 feet). This site offers excellent photography opportunities.

After the waterfall, we will go to the center of Santiago Apoala, where you will have an hour free for lunch. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Oaxaca, with an expected arrival time of 8 pm.
