On this food tour, we'll visit some iconic places in Coimbra to sample the renowned petiscos.

Coimbra Food Tour

At 12 pm, we'll meet at Largo da Portagem to start our petiscos tour around Coimbra. We will explore Portuguese cuisine.

Along the tour, we'll stop at several of the best bars and restaurants in the city to sample traditional dishes and appetizers. We'll visit the Don Pedro V Market to enjoy the vibrant colors, smells, and flavors defining Mediterranean cuisine.

We'll try traditional rissois, codfish dumplings, roast suckling pig bairrada style, and cheeses and cured meats. Additionally, we will taste the Crúzio sweets in a historic café located within a 16th-century church.

During the food tour, we will pair these delicacies with local wines and traditional cherry liqueur.

After two hours, we'll finish the tour at Cafe Santa Cruz.
