On this food tour, we'll visit iconic places in Coimbra to sample the renowned petiscos. Ready to enjoy some of the finest cuisine in Portugal?

Coimbra Food Tour

At 12 pm, we'll meet at Largo da Portagem to start our petiscos tour around Coimbra. We'll discover Portuguese cuisine.

Along the tour, we'll stop at several of the best bars and restaurants in the city to sample traditional dishes and appetizers. We'll visit the Don Pedro V Market to enjoy the vibrant colors, smells, and flavors of Mediterranean cuisine.

We'll try traditional rissois, codfish dumplings, roast suckling pig bairrada style, and cheeses and cured meats. For those with a sweet tooth, we'll enjoy the Crúzio sweets at a historic café located in a 16th-century church.

Throughout the tour, we’ll pair these delicacies with local wines and try some traditional cherry liqueur.

After two hours, we'll finish the tour at Cafe Santa Cruz.
