On this food tour, we'll visit some of the most iconic places in Coimbra to sample the renowned petiscos.
Coimbra Food Tour
At 12 pm, we'll meet at Largo da Portagem to begin our petiscos tour around Coimbra. We'll stop at several of the best bars and restaurants to sample traditional dishes and appetizers, including the Don Pedro V Market, which showcases Mediterranean cuisine.
We'll try traditional rissois, codfish dumplings, roast suckling pig bairrada style, and cheeses and cured meats. Additionally, we will sample Crúzio sweets at a historic café in a 16th-century church.
Throughout the tour, these delicacies will be paired with local wines and traditional cherry liqueur.
After two hours, we will conclude the tour at Cafe Santa Cruz.
