Want to explore two of the most sacred places in Portugal? On this tour, we'll visit Fatima, world-famous for its sanctuary, and Nazare, a beautiful fishing village and a favored destination for surfers.

Fatima & Nazare Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Fatima. We'll walk through its streets to the Shrine of Fatima, one of the most important Christian temples globally, welcoming millions of pilgrims annually.

At the Chapel of Apparitions, we'll discuss the Virgin Mary's apparitions to the shepherds in 1917. We'll also visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Church of the Holy Trinity, which features a modern style.

Afterward, we'll board the minibus to the fishing village of Nazare, where you'll have free time to taste the region's fresh seafood.

Next, we'll walk to the Chapel of Memory, located on the edge of the promontory in Nazare, offering spectacular views. We will also visit the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Nazare, a historical pilgrimage site.

From Farol da Nazare, we'll view Praia do Norte, famous among surfers and known for being the site where Garrett McNamara surfed the highest wave in history in 2011. We'll cover its history.

After 8 hours, we'll return to your hotel in Coimbra.
