Want to explore two of the most sacred places in Portugal? On this tour, we'll visit Fatima, world-famous for its sanctuary, and Nazare, a beautiful fishing village and a favored destination for surfers.

Fatima & Nazare Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Fatima. Once we arrive, we'll walk through its streets until we reach the famous Shrine of Fatima, one of the most important Christian temples in the world, welcoming millions of pilgrims annually.

At the Chapel of Apparitions, we'll discuss the Virgin Mary's apparitions to the shepherds in 1917. We'll also visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Church of the Holy Trinity, showcasing a modern style.

We will then take the minibus to Nazare, where you'll have free time to taste the fresh seafood of the region.

Next, we will walk to the Chapel of Memory, located on the edge of the promontory in Nazare, offering spectacular views. We will also visit the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Nazare, which has welcomed numerous pilgrimages throughout history.

From Farol da Nazare, we'll have views of Praia do Norte, renowned among surfers and known for Garrett McNamara surfing the highest wave in history in 2011. We'll cover its history during the visit.

After 8 hours, we'll return to your hotel in Coimbra.
