Mondego River Kayak Tour

Meet at the designated location on the old road between Coimbra and Penacova, by the Mondego River. We will proceed to Penacova to begin the tour.

Upon arrival, instructions will be given, and kayaks will be distributed. The tour starts with paddling through the Mondego Valley, passing villages like Ronqueira and Louredo.

Participants will encounter river beaches and currents, with opportunities for a refreshing swim. A stop at a restaurant will be made for snacks or drinks.

After the break, we will return to Penacova and transport you back to Coimbra. The total duration is approximately 5.5 to 6 hours from pickup to return.
