At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Coimbra and head to the river beach of Areinho, located on the banks of the Paiva River.

Once there, we'll provide brief directions and begin our hike through the Paiva Walkways, covering 8 kilometers (5 miles), taking approximately two and a half hours.

As we walk along the wooden walkways over the Paiva River (passadiços), we'll learn about the geology of this natural site and discuss the local fauna and flora, along with its archaeological significance.

Halfway, we'll stop briefly at Praia do Vau to rest and explain the reconstruction of the wooden walkways, recognized with the Leading Tourism Development Project in Europe award by the World Travel Awards in 2016.

Afterward, we'll continue our hike through the Paiva Walkways to Espiunca river beach. We will then return to your hotel in Coimbra, arriving approximately four and a half hours after the pick-up time.
