Prior Lucas Winery Tour

At the time of booking, we will meet at the entrance of the Prior Lucas Winery and begin a guided tour to discover the secrets of Coimbra's wine.

We will explore the vineyards of the estate and learn about the properties that the soil gives to the grape. We will learn about the different types of grape used to produce each wine, including Baga, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Merlot, and Syrah.

After touring the exterior of the estate, we will head inside to tour the different rooms and observe the wine-making process. We will see the de-stemmer, the steel tank room, and the oak barrels used in the production of wine.

Lastly, we will enjoy a tasting of three types of wine alongside some local oil. The activity will conclude after an hour-long tour.
