Serra da Lousa & Xisto Villages Trip (4 Hours)

After pickup from your hotel in Coimbra, we'll head to Serra de Lousã by bus. We'll start at the village of Cerdeira, known for its reconstructed houses made from shale stones, clay, and brown wood. Then we'll visit Candal, where we'll walk through picturesque streets and enjoy scenic views from a viewpoint. Next, we’ll stop at Talasnal, the largest and best-preserved village, characterized by slate houses, oaks, and cork trees. Finally, we'll return to Coimbra after exploring the wilderness.

Slate Villages of Serra da Lousã (8 Hours)

This option takes us to the mountains of Sicó and Lousã to explore the natural landscapes and charming villages. We'll visit the slate-built villages of Cerdeira, Candal, Talasnal, and Casal Novo. Then, we'll visit Trevim for the Lousã Swing. The experience includes a delicious lunch and a tasting of PDO-certified sheep and goat cheeses, olive oils, bread, and wine in Rabaçal. We'll return to the meeting point approximately eight hours after starting the tour.
