Explore Tasmania's eastern coast on our boat trip around the Freycinet Peninsula and Wineglass Bay. High cliffs, incredible wildlife, dreamlike beaches and glistening blue seas await!

Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay Boat Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Jetty Road and board a boat for a cruise through Freycinet National Park to explore Wineglass Bay.

Leaving Coles Bay, we will journey along Tasmania's east coast, witnessing sea caves, granite cliffs, waterfalls, and Cooks and Bryan Beaches. As we navigate the ocean, we will discuss the flora and fauna of Freycinet National Park, home to 49 endemic species.

Before reaching Wineglass Bay, we'll view the north coast of Schouten Island, where you may spot little penguins and shearwaters.

Next, we head into the Tasman Sea, approaching Wineglass Bay. You'll see the pink peaks of The Hazards mountain range and learn about this unique hue while capturing photos.

Information about early explorers of Wineglass Bay will be shared, and if conditions allow, we may observe dolphins swimming. From September to December and May to July, there’s a chance to see whales.

After 4 hours and 30 minutes at sea, we'll conclude our boat trip at the starting point.
