Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay Boat Trip
At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Jetty Road and board a boat for a cruise through the Freycinet National Park. Let's explore Wineglass Bay!
We will depart from Coles Bay and begin our exploration of Tasmania's east coast. Our route includes sea caves, granite cliffs, waterfalls, and Cooks and Bryan Beaches. During the journey, we will discuss the flora and fauna of the Freycinet National Park, home to 49 endemic species.
Before arriving at Wineglass Bay, we will view the north coast of Schouten Island. Look for little penguins and shearwaters on this island.
Next, we will venture into the Tasman Sea as we approach Wineglass Bay. We will observe the pink peaks of The Hazards mountain range and explain their unique color while you take photos.
Learn about the early explorers of Wineglass Bay and, if lucky, see some dolphins. If your trip is between September and December or May and July, you might also spot some whales.
After 4 hours and 30 minutes at sea, we will conclude our boat trip back at the starting point.
