Explore Tasmania's eastern coast on our boat trip around the Freycinet Peninsula and Wineglass Bay. High cliffs, incredible wildlife, dreamlike beaches, and glistening blue seas await!

Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay Boat Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Jetty Road and board a boat for a cruise through the Freycinet National Park. We will start exploring Wineglass Bay.

Departing from Coles Bay, we will navigate the east coast, encountering sea caves, granite cliffs, waterfalls, and Cooks and Bryan Beaches. Throughout the journey, we will discuss the flora and fauna of Freycinet National Park, home to 49 endemic species.

Prior to reaching Wineglass Bay, we will view the north coast of Schouten Island, where sightings of little penguins and shearwaters are possible.

Next, we will venture into the Tasman Sea approaching Wineglass Bay. Upon arrival, the pink peaks of The Hazards mountain range will be visible, and we'll share the story behind the color.

You will learn about the early explorers of Wineglass Bay, and if fortunate, we may see dolphins swimming nearby. Between September-December or May-July, there may also be whales.

After 4 hours 30 minutes at sea, we will conclude our boat trip back at the starting point.
