Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay Boat Trip

At the scheduled time, we will meet on Jetty Road to board a boat for a cruise through the Freycinet National Park. The journey will commence from Coles Bay, covering Tasmania's east coast. The route includes sights of sea caves, granite cliffs, waterfalls, and Cooks and Bryan Beaches. Information on the endemic flora and fauna, which includes 49 species, will be provided.

Before reaching Wineglass Bay, we will view the north coast of Schouten Island, where sightings of little penguins and shearwaters may occur. Our route then leads into the Tasman Sea, bringing us to Wineglass Bay, where the pink peaks of The Hazards mountain range will be visible. We will discuss the reasons for this color phenomenon while you capture photos.

Insights into the early explorers of Wineglass Bay will be shared, and sightings of dolphins may be possible. During September to December and May to July, opportunities to see whales may also arise.

After 4 hours and 30 minutes at sea, we will conclude our boat trip back at the starting point.
