Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay Lunch Cruise
Meeting on Jetty Road at the designated time marks the start of our adventure. We'll board a vessel and set sail from Coles Bay, embarking on an exploration of the captivating Freycinet Peninsula.
As we navigate the waters, you will marvel at the magnificent granite cliffs of Freycinet National Park, its stunning sea caves, and cascading waterfalls. Throughout the journey, we will delve into the remarkable biodiversity of this Tasmanian region and look for playful dolphins swimming alongside us.
The cruise will take us past Cooks and Bryan Beaches, along the northern coast of Schouten Island, ultimately leading us to Wineglass Bay. You will quickly understand why this location is celebrated as one of the most picturesque bays in Australia, with its azure waters, pristine white sands, and the enchanting hues of the surrounding Hazards mountain range.
While enjoying the cruise, savor a delightful meal prepared on board. The lunch spread will feature a variety of smoked meats, fresh salads, artisanal cheeses, crusty bread, seasonal fruits, and a sweet dessert.
In addition to soaking in the stunning views of Wineglass Bay, you will also embark on a journey back to the early 19th century, retracing the fascinating history of the first European explorers who ventured into this enchanting territory.
After an enriching 4 hours and 30 minutes at sea, we will return to our original departure point, concluding this memorable lunch cruise.
