Found in Cathedral Square, right in Colmar's historical centre, the Alsace Wine Museum reveals how famous Alsatian wines are produced in the east of France.

With your ticket to the museum, you'll have a chance to explore its different rooms with an audioguide in English, covering traditional winemaking secrets. The exhibition features interactive spaces providing insights into local vineyards, grape types, and winemaking processes.

A highlight is a walkway allowing visitors to experience the grape stomping phase. Additionally, the museum includes a simulator offering a tour of an Alsace vineyard from within its walls.

The museum also displays informational panels illustrating locations along the Alsace Wine Route and detailing the roles of winemakers, coopers, sommeliers, chefs, and other professionals in the wine industry.

After 1 and a half hours, this audio-guided tour concludes with a tasting of a glass of wine.

The Alsace Wine Museum is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm. The final admission is at 5 pm.
