Step into the fairytale world of Colmar on a private walking tour. With your local guide, you'll uncover captivating stories and history of this old town, which inspired Belle's village from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast.

Description

We'll begin our journey in the historical center of Colmar after meeting at the Covered Market on Rue des Écoles. We'll visit the market to understand daily life before heading to places like Cafe Jupiler and Restaurant Au Koïfhus.

As we stroll through picturesque streets, we'll learn about the city's origins tied to Charles the Great and the Saxon wars. We'll admire monuments such as the Saint-Martin Church, a 13th-century Gothic church, and enjoy the ambiance along Quai de la Poissonnerie, viewing Colmar's half-timbered houses and early Renaissance architecture that inspired Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
