Daytime Boat Trip
Arrive at the dock, located five minutes from the Cologne Cathedral, and depart on the boat trip at your selected time. The cruise includes an English audioguide accessible via a QR code on the boat.
Cologne, one of the oldest cities in Germany, dates back to a Roman colony in the 1st century AD. During the trip, you can listen to the audio guide in English and seven other languages about Cologne's history and main monuments.
The cruise provides panoramic views of Cologne. You will see the Frankenwerft promenade, Fischmarkt square, the Hohenzollern Bridge, Cologne Cathedral, and the Twelve Romanesque churches of Cologne. After an hour, the boat will return to the starting point.
Sunset Boat Trip
Departing from the Trankgassenwerft pier, the sunset cruise takes you along the Rhine, colored by sunset light, for 2 hours. Note that this tour does not include an audioguide.
As you cruise, admire the medieval buildings of the old town and the silhouette of the Hohenzollern Bridge. During dusk, witness the cathedral and the bell towers of the Romanesque basilicas. You will also see the Fischmarkt square and the tree-lined promenade. A bar on board serves drinks and snacks. At the end, the boat returns to the starting point.
