Private Tour of Cologne
At your chosen time, we'll meet at Domtreppen, the steps in front of Cologne Cathedral, where the private tour will begin. We'll admire the Gothic façade of the church, rising to 157 meters.
Next, we'll visit the Heinzelmännchenbrunnen to learn the legend behind its sculptures. We will then stop at Rathausplatz and Alter Markt, where we will see the Old City Hall, constructed 900 years ago on a Roman praetorium site.
Afterward, we will stroll along the gardens by the Rhine River to the Fish Market, known for its colorful houses. Our tour will continue with the Willi Ostermann Brunnen Fountain and a view of the Wallraf-Richartz and Kolumba museums, the latter incorporating the ruins of St Kolumba Church.
We'll make a stop at the Dufthaus 4711, one of the oldest perfumeries in Cologne, dating back to the 18th century, and view the façade of the EL-DE Haus, former Gestapo headquarters.
The tour will conclude at the Kölnisches Stadtmuseum, the city museum, before finishing at the Römerbrunnen fountain after two hours.
