Try out a fun sport in a unique environment on our Uruguay River Kayak Tour. We'll set off from Colón and row along the Argentinean section of the Uruguay River while admiring the views around us.

Uruguay River Kayak Tour

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between a 3 or an 8-hour kayak tour. Both routes start from a campsite on the banks of the river, where you'll receive a brief theory lesson.

3-Hour Tour

This low-difficulty route is suitable for beginners, covering approximately 6 miles (10 kilometers).

We will kayak along a scenic area of the Uruguay River, observing the local biodiversity. Possible sightings include endemic birds such as sparrow hawks, jacanas, and kingfishers. A break on the shore will include a snack of homemade cakes, fresh fruit, nuts, and regional cakes, with drinks like mate, tea, or coffee. We will return to the meeting point 3 hours after departure.

Schedule: this tour runs at 10 am and 2 pm.

8-Hour Tour with Lunch

This option features a medium-difficulty route covering 12 miles (20 kilometers).

In addition to exploring local fauna and flora, we'll also learn about the history related to one of the first river ports of the Spanish colony.

We'll stop at a river island for lunch, which includes a picada of regional products, grilled pizza, and a selection of asados (beef, chicken, or river fish) with a vegetarian option. Dessert will be a seasonal fruit salad. We will kayak back to the starting point, arriving by 6 pm.
