Tortuguero National Park Canoeing Tour

On this canoeing tour around the Tortuguero National Park, we'll sail along the canals as we enter the tropical rainforest.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the main pier in Tortuguero to begin this canoeing tour around the Tortuguero National Park. We will put on lifejackets, get into our canoes, and receive instructions from the guide before we start.

This park is known as the most popular and best-conserved national park in Costa Rica. Local regulations help preserve its natural beauty.

During the first part of our journey, we will see crocodiles along the banks. As we continue paddling, the channels will narrow.

The guide will scan the vegetation, water, and treetops. Keep an eye out for sloths, bats, frogs, monkeys, and various birds.

On our return, we will paddle along the opposite side of the river and have the opportunity to observe more wildlife and exotic native flora.

We will return to the initial meeting point after approximately 2.5 hours.
