At the scheduled time, we will meet in Piazza Camerleta, located near Baradello Castle in Spina Verde Park. This castle, commissioned by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, is built on Byzantine ruins from the 6th century and overlooks the city and lake.

We will explore various areas of the castle, including the square Romanesque tower, which stands 92 feet (28 meters) high. From this tower, you can see Como reflected in the lake and views extending from the Alps to the Po Valley and the Apennines. Remember to bring your camera!

For those opting for the tour with an aperitif, a selection of local snacks and a bottle of wine will be provided for three people while enjoying views from the terrace of the Frederick rampart.

After a 2-hour tour of the castle, we will return to our meeting point to conclude the activity.
