Baradello Castle Private Visit

We will meet at the scheduled time in Piazza Camerleta, close to Baradello Castle, located in Spina Verde Park atop its hill. Upon arrival, we will explore the building's different spaces and appreciate its architecture. This castle was commissioned by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, built on 6th-century Byzantine remains, dominating the city and lake from above.

Next, we will visit the square Romanesque tower, the best-preserved structure, standing almost 92 feet (28 meters) tall, visible throughout the town. From here, you can enjoy views of Como reflected in the lake and landscapes from the Alps to the Po Valley and the Apennines. Remember to bring your camera!

If you opt for the tour with an aperitif, you will enjoy local snacks and a bottle of wine shared among three while taking in stunning views from the terrace of the Frederick rampart.

After 2 hours of touring the castle, we will return to the starting point to conclude our activity.
